And So It Goes

Instead of getting any better at posting these blogs we actually seem to have gotten worse. The truth of the matter is it is a lot easier to post little blurbs on Facebook, or Twitter, or any other site that has a handy Android phone application. When it comes to truly sitting down and writing a blog, I'm usually inspired more by things that I don't think should represent the business aspects of ANOMALY. Like the alien abduction film The 4th Kind for example.

But here I am again, I find myself wishing there was enough time in the day. I'm currently trying to link this blog with our new website, and if I am successful (despite my limited technical abilities) it should help remind me to update more regularly.

Here's what's new since the last update OVER A YEAR AGO....

-We have a female piercer named Monique that's been with us for a few months. She's really nice and the clients seem to like her.

-We moved the Pasadena shop to an area with better exposure and potential for growth, which is important if we all hope to survive this economic crisis.

-I have traveled a ton this year for various reasons, like suspension events in Miami and Las Vegas, guest spots around the country and of course the wholesale jewelry thing that I do.

-Anne and Rai have been busy in the salon and continue to give back to the community. In fact the entire Anomaly Hair Design Team volunteered at a Joico sponsored event here in Pasadena giving haircuts to children with AIDS and their family members. I'm sure everyone involved left feeling like a million bucks. Sometimes all you need is a haircut to make you feel better, I know it sounds corny but I'm not the first to report it... just look closer at the lyrics of famous singers from Madonna to Kurt Cobain.

We're still working on getting that video blog up and running, I am confident it will come to fruition very soon. The new website at anomaly2.com is inspiring me to link a lot of these things together finally, which I know is the smart way of doing it anyway. Well hopefully I'll start making time for those of you that don't exist out there (our non-readers) and actually have something of quality to publish on this thing.
